This is my first post for this year. So HAPPY NEW YEAR! I would like to take this opportunity (for at least a couple of paragraphs) to thank all of your out there, my friends (blog stalkers included) and to reflect a little bit… well u know..

My photographic experience for this year has been a truly fruitful and enlightening one. I was lucky enough to be have covered more weddings than I can actually imagine. I must say that I have always learned something from every single wedding that I shoot; be it exposure, shooting modes, blending myself into the event or getting ready for “the shot” (or at least what I would like to think is “the shot” lol).

Last year was also the first year I covered my first overseas assignment (wedding photo shoot). It was nerve wrecking. I set expectations that were beyond what were expected of me. I figure if I like photography, I better be aiming and working towards being damn good at it. I just love shooting weddings. Don’t ask me why because I dont know how to answer you. I’m definitely still learning… and honing my technical skills in photography whenever time permits.

So enough of my photographic flashbacks for 2007. Here are some pictures that were taken from Kellie & Eng Hooi’s new home during new year’s eve. They were nice enough to have the gang bunk over at their place. We didn’t actually plan for it but ended up dead tired playing UNO Stacko until 4am. I warned the rest about my snoring but thankfully I didn’t actually snore.. (or at least that’s what I was told. hehe..)

For the record, Kellie makes one of best Irish Creams I’ve ever tasted. I don’t think I’ve tried a lot of other Irish Cream but damn… the first Irish cream she made during her house warming (which I actually burnt my tongue) just makes me want go there for more! *drool*…

It was really good fun. It can’t be better than that…. as there was Mr. Baskin Robbins with us! hehe..
